During our Sunday School lesson for Sunday, January 4th, we learned about 2 Hebrew Midwives who were given orders from the king of Egypt to kill all Hebrew born baby boys. {Exodus 1:8-21} The Midwives risked their lives in a act of civil disobedience in order to stop the possible genocide of the Hebrew people. The lesson: What are we will to risk in order to stay obedient to way and will of God?
Will you act as a midwive? Will you allow God to use you to help another give birth? or will you be a baby killer.
And for those who are pregnant with purpose, protect your unborn baby from baby killers.
I pray for the spirit of a Midwife...Lord forgive me if I have ever killed another's baby. --Libby
